What is QORE?

QORE Architecture

Quantum-Safe Core Solution
QORE, an Open Source Solution developed by CoRan Labs, integrates Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG) into the Core network to address the imminent threat of quantum computing. By transitioning from traditional cryptographic techniques to quantum-resistant algorithms, QORE ensures robust security and reliability, protecting the core network from vulnerabilities posed by quantum attacks, migrating from Classical Telecom Network to Post-Quantum Telecom Network.

The current 3GPP-defined Core relies on classical cryptography, which is increasingly susceptible to quantum threats. QORE mitigates these risks by incorporating advanced post-quantum techniques such as Module-Lattice-Based Key-Encapsulation Mechanism (ML-KEM) and Digital Signature Algorithm (ML-DSA) for secure key exchange and authentication. It utilizes QRNG for generating truly random seeds, enhancing cryptographic strength. Additional features include PQ-mTLS(mTLS1.3 with PQ support), PQ-IPSec(IKEv2 with PQ support) , PQ-DTLS(DTLS1.3 with PQ support), and AES256 for securing communications and data integrity, offering a future-ready solution to quantum challenges.
